The M34 from Archambault is a sensitive, demanding racing machine. But if you can handle it, you will have a great sailing experience

It doesn't take much wind for the Speedo on the M34 to reach 15 knots under gennaker. Doesn't that make you want to sail on straight away - preferably round France? This is exactly what the boat was designed and built for, as the official standardised class for the legendary Tour de France à la Voile stage classic and as a replacement for the Mumm 30 previously used for this. However, the M34 could also establish itself internationally as a standardised class. It has the prerequisites for this, as the concept pursues a strict standardisation of rules.

For real regatta fans, however, the M34 primarily attracts with its considerable performance potential under sail. With its strikingly slim bow section, wide stern and constricted waterline, the boat demands active teamwork. What's more, the M34 is difficult to steer and is demanding and very sensitive, even for experienced sailors.

The test of the M34 from Archambault now in the new YACHT 3/2012.
